Rogersville: Jessie Lee Lyles, age 86 of Rogersville, passed away, Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Church Hill Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. She was a member of Rogersville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Lyles retired as manager of Park Belks Department Store in Rogersville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thatcher H. Lyles; parents, Clarence Lee and Nellie Roddy Ellison; brothers, Claude, William, Clifford and Kenneth Ellison.

Survivors include one daughter, Martha Henard and husband, Tommy of Rogersville; two sons, Bill Lyles and wife, Sue of Rogersville and David Lyles and wife, Janice of Gray, TN.; four grandchildren, Jessica Owen and husband, Terry, Brian Henard and wife, Susan, Wesley Lyles and Kevin Lyles; six great grandchildren, Daniel Owen, Benjamin Owen, Stephen Owen, Meredith Owen, Caleb Owen and Emily Henard ; one sister, Betty Holloway of Orlando, FL. A number of nieces and nephews; caregivers, Wilma Finney, Mavis Singleton and Teresa Williams.

Calling hours will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Broome Funeral Home and other times at her residence, 115 Par 3 Circle, Rogersville.

Funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Andy Willis officiating. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at McKinney Cemetery.
