My heart and prayers go out to all the family . Bruce was just the kindest gentleman . I met him when he subbed for me, and his smile and love for others shined brightly. His work for the library alone is beyond measure. When he saw a need, he didn't hesitate to help . I am so sorry for your loss . Prayers for comfort and strength for the days ahead . What a wonderful legacy he has left to cherish . In Christ, Devonia and Dan Cochran

This just breaks my heart. This man was so good to my brother that has Autism. I would take him to the mall every year to see him. One year he didn't even make me pay for his pictures. I cried and I appreciate him so.much for the love he showed to my brother because not alot of people react in a good manner because of his autism. You all are in my prayers. Much love , Rachel Owens

Sending the whole Campbell family our sympathies. One cannot think of Bruce without a smile. Years would go by without seeing him but he always made it seem like we had just been with him the day before. There must be some major party going on in heaven now that Bruce has arrived. We were all lucky to have known him.

We were so saddened to hear about Bruce. "Santa" was always a favorite part of our visits to my parents church! He was so sweet and our girls always loved seeing him too. He always made us feel right at home at Rogersville UMC and we will miss him dearly. My parents are sad at the loss of a good friend and asset to that community. Sending love and prayers for Donna, family and friends, Joanna, Randy, Katie, Melody, Ed and Sally.

Bruce will be sorely missed by all of us at the H.B. Stamps Library. He operated our yearly fund-raising book sale in October and was always able to find volunteers to help him out. He also played our Santa Claus every year for the little ones at the library and I know they will miss him so much. He was such a large part of our community and was loved by so many. We will truly miss him.

Bruce was possibly the most interesting person we have ever known. He always had a smile and a firm handshake or a hug. He never failed to ask about our son and his school activities. He will be missed. Peace and love.
