Karin Jennifer Lane-Trenholm

Rogersville:  Karin Jennifer Lane-Trenholm age 46, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home with her husband and sons at her side. Karin was an awesome mom, daughter, “Sis” and friend to all who knew her smiling face and outgoing personality.  She was a 1989 graduate of Cherokee High School.   Karin was also a 1991 graduate of Walter's State Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.  She was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star, Hasson Chapter No. 179.  Karin was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Ruth Romans and her paternal grandparents, George and Stella Lane.

Karin is survived by her husband, Michael Trenholm; sons Joshua and Joseph Trenholm all of the home;  parents,  George and Joan Lane;  brother, David Lane all of Rogersville;  brother,  Patrick Lane and wife, Pam; nephew, Brandon all of Kyles Ford;  father-in-law and mother-in-law,  Ed and Diane Trenholm of Sevierville;  sister-in-law, Sheri Babcock and husband, Allen of New York;  brothers-in-law, Doug Trenholm and wife, Nancy of Sevierville, Daniel Trenholm and wife, Patti of White Pine;  nieces, Carrie and husband,  Andrew, Amber and Amanda;  nephews, Stephen, Brett, Josh, Gabe and Dylan;  aunt, Phyliss  Van Cleave and husband, Terrell; uncle, Lyle Lane; several cousins all of Rogersville, as well as many wonderful friends.

The family of Karin would like to thank all of their friends, family and the community for all the prayers, and Blessings that you have shown the family during these difficult times. Thank you also to Dr. McElroy and nurse Joyce and the ENTIRE Staff of Kingsport Oncology, The Pharmacy Staff of Walgreens Rogersville and Amedisys Hospice of Kingsport, Especially Ashley Skeens.

Visitation hours will be 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.  Order of the Eastern Star funeral rites will be performed by Hasson Chapter No. 179 prior to the funeral service.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Reese officiating.

Interment will be private.

Immediately following the service a luncheon and gathering of friends and family will be held at the Hawkins County Gas building everyone is welcome.
