Charlie Robbins Obituary

Decatur, AL/Rogersville, TN: Charlie Robbins, 92, of Decatur, AL formerly of Rogersville, TN passed away at his residence in Decatur on July 10, 2019. He was born April 21,1927 to Sam and Mattie Robbins in Monterey Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ellen Jones Robbins; son, Jimmy. Mr. Robbins was a WWII veteran and served in the U.S. Navy

He is survived by a daughter, Donna R. Shanks (Ben) of Kingsport, TN; son, Chuck Robbins (Amy) of Decatur Alabama; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hospice of the Valley in Decatur Al. and a special his professional sitters.

A private family graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, Rogersville, TN with Pastor Todd Pierce officiating and Randy Combs speaking. Military honors provided by the Hawkins County Color Guard and U.S. Navy.
