Everette "Sonny" Ray West

Rogersville: Everette "Sonny" Ray West, age 83 of Rogersville, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness. He was a member and chairman of deacons at McCloud Missionary Baptist Church. Sonny was  a veteran having served in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Grant Ray and Annamaye Parker West; sister, Fern Cinnamon and brother, Bill West.

He is survived by his brother, Kenneth West and wife, Gail of Florida; number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Graveside service will follow the visitation Thursday at  Kite Cemetery with Rev. Heath Elkins officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Hawkins County Color Guard and TN Army National Guard.
