Mark D. Hammond

Rogersville: Mark D. Hammond, age 60, formerly of Kingsport, TN, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at 6:32 A. M. at Takoma Hospital, Greeneville after an extended illness. He was a member of Tricities Baptist Church in gray, TN. Mark spent a life long career in the transportation industry working his way from driver to a vice-president. He worked for several years for A & M Express and Old Dominion Freight Lines Locally. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold R. and Marie Piserchia Hammond.

He is survived by two sons; Daniel J. Hammond of Raymond, ME and Mark D. Hammond II of Asheville, NC; brother Harold R. Hammond of Stockbridge, GA.

A Private service will be scheduled for a later date.
