Michael lynn Starnes

Rogersville: Michael Lynn Starnes, of the Beech Creek Community, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at  Ballad Hawkins County Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Starnes; maternal grandparents, Orbin (Cub) and Ora Rhoton and paternal grandparents, Sherman and Bessie Starnes.
Survivors include his mother,  Norene R. Starnes of Rogersville; brother, Steve Starnes and wife, Glenda of Rogersville; nieces, Kassandra Starnes and Kaitlyn Starnes and nephew, Jimmy Starnes; aunt, Iva Nell Copas and husband, Larry of Kingsport.
Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bobby Bernard officiating. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church.
