Robert Collins Obituary

Rogersville: Robert "A.V." Collins, age 83, of Rogersville, passed away, Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Ballad Hawkins County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was of the Baptist Faith and was known for singing "Take Time Out For Jesus" everywhere he went. AV was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Herron Collins; parents, Pat and Mindy Sexton Collins; step daughter, Zella Wallace, niece, Frankie Rogers and a number of sisters and brothers.
Survivors include his nieces, Peggy S. Pearson and husband, Gary, Christina Boggs and husband, Joe; step sons, Johnny Ferrell and Danny Ferrell,and great niece, Megan Rogers, all of Rogersville.
A private service will be held at a later date.
