BETTY MARIE NICHOLS AKERS ANDERSON

Rogersville: Betty Marie Nichols Akers Anderson was born December 20, 1931,  in Osaka, Va. and died Saturday, January 28, 2023.   She was preceded in death by her loving parents Iva Belle and Jess Nichols, loving husband Enoch Anderson, loving brothers J.C., Edward, Ernest, Hubert and William Ray Nichols, loving sisters, Thelma Nichols Vernon and Geraldine Nichols.

Betty was a loving and devoted mother to Jimmy Ray and Dennis Wayne Akers and loving mother-in-law to Barbara and Nokie, all of Va.  She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Visitation hours will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in the  Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Doug Seymore officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
