Ben F. Manis

Ben F. Manis, age 91 of Whitesburg, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, after a brief illness. He was a school bus driver for the Hancock County School system for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Bowlin, parents, Jesse James and Dorie Helton Manis; daughters, Barbara Manis, Lisa Parrott, and daughter-in-law Vickie Manis.

Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Manis of Surgoinsville; sons, Bill Manis (fiancé Lori Ann Davis) of Whitesburg and Michael Manis of Rogersville; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Nichols of Eidson and Laura Manning of Sneedville; brother Paul Manis of Eidson, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 5, 2025 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tony Seal officiating. Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Manis Cemetery, Eidson.
