Bonnie Lynn Smith

Bulls Gap:  Bonnie L. Smith , age 94, died peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her three children, Bill, Sharon, and Karen on Thursday, June 16, 2022.  Her warm smile, loving kindness, and Godly character will continue through the generations of her grandchildren who she dearly loved.   She was preceded in death by her husband William Kenner Smith, daughter Deborah Belmaggio, infant daughter Madelyn Gwen Smith, mother Ethel Rush Laster, and sister Joan Hawkins.

Survivors include her son Bill Smith, Jr. and wife Donna of Mohawk, daughters, Sharon Fugate and husband Roger of Bradford, Ohio, Karen Lawson and husband Terry of Mohawk, sisters Mary Helen Jones of Rogersville and Sylvia Evans of Bulls Gap, brother Thomas Laster and wife Almeda of Bulls Gap, 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  

Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 20, 2022 at Fairview Baptist Church, Mohawk, TN with Honorable Dan Armstrong officiating.
