CHARLES "WAYNE" COFFEY

Charles "Wayne" Coffey, age 66, of Rogersville, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Ballad Health Hawkins County Memorial Hospital.  He was a member of Maple Hill Baptist Church.  Wayne was well known to the community for his hard work, kindness and would help anyone at anytime. He loved and enjoyed playing his guitar.   Wayne was preceded in death by his son Charles Adam Coffey, parents Hobert McKinney and Leona Helton Coffey, sisters Margie Justice and Mary Ann Manis, brothers Jimmy, Johnny, Kenneth Coffey, and step father John Coffey.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Fain Coffey, son Tyler Coffey and wife Ashley, his pride and joy, grandchildren, Peyton and McKenzie Coffey, sister Alice Bailey and husband Lowell, brothers, Billy Coffey and wife Kathy, E.J. and companion Sonya Hall, all of Rogersville; numerous nieces, nephews, and special companion, his dog Bambie.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024, in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chuck Lowe and Rev. Roy Charles officiating.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in the Coffey Family Cemetery.  Those that wish to attend the graveside service please meet at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m.
