CHARLOTTE ANN COWAN

Charlotte Cowan, 64, of Rogersville went to her heavenly home and was reunited with her son, Bo, on November 26, 2025. 

Charlotte was a woman whose heart held more love than most people give in a lifetime. She was gentle, handled everything with grace, and was endlessly kind. At her core she was a caregiver and "the best mommy," not just by what she did, but by who she was. She cared for children, family, friends, animals, and anyone who needed a soft place to land. She offered comfort without being asked, gave love without hesitation, and made people feel safe simply by being near her. 

To know her was to love her.  Charlotte was truly an angel on earth. 

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Joney Mcnally and Dorothy Presley and her son Travis “Bo” Cowan. 

She is survived by her husband Michael Cowan, son Chris (Tasha) Cowan of Rogersville, granddaughter Kylee Gentry, brothers, Eddie (Marlene) Mcnally, Tracy Mcnally, and Tony (Linda) Mcnally, all of Surgoinsville, sister Christy (Dustin) Andies of Surgoinsville, special nieces, Makenzie Mcnally and Aspen Worley, special friend Betty York, and countless others who she loved dearly. 

She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and courageous strength.

Family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Justin Bise officiating.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2025, at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.

For those that wish to attend the graveside service please meet at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m.
