CHRIS FAIN Obituary

Kingsport: Chris Fain, age 46, of Kingsport passed away peacefully, Wednesday afternoon December 14, 2022, at her home surrounded by family and friends who loved her deeply.

Chris served Hawkins County as a fabulous school teacher for 25+ years, also volunteering for several years at A Place in the Son Ministries and teaching Sunday school in her church. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 26 years, Darrell Fain, daughter Joy Fain (future son-in-law Xander Payne) daughter Anna Fain, nephew Dominic Ogle who she raised as her own, mother-in-law and caregiver Odessa Fain, all of the home, brother-in-law David Ogle (Heather) Russellville, TN., father Alan Dickson of Melbourne Florida, sisters Cindy Hutchens (Rich) Kingsport, TN., Cherie Beard (Randy) Arkansas, Alane Hutchens (Phil) Rockledge, Florida, special aunt and uncle, Jim and Cathy Sieler Melbourne, Fl., several nieces and nephews. Special friend and care giver who she lovingly referred to as "Bossy", Mary Lewis of Kingsport, TN.

Services will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Faith Assembly Church 106 Blevins Road, Rogersville with Pastor Billy Ray Courtney officiating.
