CHRISTINE "CHRISTY" FERRELL

Christine “Christy” Ferrell, age 52, of Greeneville, went to be with the lord on Sunday, June 29th, 2025, at her home. 

Christy loved listening to music, watching lifetime movies, and spending time with her housemate, friends, and caretakers. She loved attending parties and gatherings where she could socialize with her friends and dance to her favorite music. 

She is survived by her housemate Stephanie whom she loved dearly; staff members: Whitney Byrd, Bre Malone, Amber Hodges, Brooklyn Banks, Nickie Landers, Teina Baines, Erica Hinkle and many other special friends at Sunrise Community of TN. She is also survived by her father Robert Ferrell Sr., mother, Peggy Elkins, sisters, Stephanie and Rebecca Ferrell Lefler, and brother Robert Ferrell Jr. 

She was preceded in death by her housemate: Deborah Keister.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Broome Funeral Home with the service at 1pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lee Brown officiating.

Interment will follow at Howe's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Bowman, Dale Painter, Billy Bersch, Jeremy Carter, Jonathan Hensley, and Troy Griffith.
