Clarence Edward Koerner, Jr., age 77,of Rogersville, formerly of New Freeedom, PA passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at his residence following a period of declining health. Clarence retired in 2011 following 40 years of service at Gray and Sons Construction Co. He was a active member of Faith Assembly Church. Clarence loved singing southern gospel music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. and Helen M. Taylor Koerner, Sr. and brother Charles Wayne Koerner.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Donna Shaver Koerner, son Edward Koerner and wife Alberta, all of Rogersville, four grandchildren, James E. Koerner of Lebanon, VA, Bryanna, Aleah and Daisha Ducheny, all of Rogersville.
Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2026, in the chapel of Hartenstein Funeral Home, 24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the funeral home chapel of Hartenstein Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Groves officiating.
Interment will follow at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 19401 Middletown Rd, Parkton, MD.
A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Faith Assembly Church with Rev. Billy Ray Courtney officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Hawkins County Color Guard.
