Curtis Stanton Couch, 60, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a member of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Curtis was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Persian Gulf War. From a young age Curtis worked and farmed at the family business Couch Greenhouse in Rogersville.
Survivors include his loving wife Kathy Alvis Couch, son Curtis Colby Couch (Regan), daughter Mahala Brooks (Gabe), mother Ruth Couch, father Philip Couch (Donna), brother Chris Couch, grandchildren, Judson Couch, Sloane Brooks, and Tate Brooks, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in the chapel with Rev. Steven McKinney officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Hawkins County Color Guard and Tennessee Army National Guard.
