DANA R. JOHNSON

Dana R. Johnson, age 70, of Bulls Gap, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Dana was preceded in death by her parents, Dempsey and Grace Manis Cutshall, sisters, Patsy Carter, Barbara Jones, Martha Carter, brothers, Leonard Cutshall, Gary, John and Billy Carter.

Survivors include her husband Junior Johnson, sons, Jeremiah (Chassity) Johnson of Mohawk, Lee (Ashley)Tackett and Adam Tackett, all of Bulls Gap, grandchildren Nash, Dylan, Kristen, Jonathan, Jesse, Shianna, McKenzie, Sierra, and Maddie, great-grandchildren Hadley and Ian, sisters, Vivian Politt of Maryland, Elaine (Gary) Parker of Sneedville and Judy Williams of Rogersville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Tackett Johnson Family Cemetery, 528 N Main St., Bulls Gap with Rev. Woody Tackett officiating.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Lee Tackett, Adam Tackett, Jeremiah Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Jonathan King, and Wesley Franklin.
