DONALD JEFFREY GUNNELL

Donald Jeffrey Gunnell, 62, of Rogersville, Tennessee, merged with the infinite on Friday November 8, 2024. He was surrounded in love by his parents Anne and Doug, brothers Todd and Chris, son Daniel, wife Cecilia, and other close family. Jeff loved hiking, fishing, gardening, playing guitar, baking and competing in 10K races. He was a Hawkins County school bus driver, a job he took very seriously. Jeff was a former Eagle Scout, and a Scoutmaster for many years in North Carolina. Jeff was tireless, loyal, and would do anything for anyone. He was the best person many of us have ever known. As much as he is missed, we know that Jeff is fine. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2024, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 646 W 5th St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
