DONNIE "SPANKY" TALLEY

Donnie "Spanky" Talley, age 75, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at his residence following a period of declining health. He was a member of Persia Baptist Church. Donnie retired from General Electric after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Arthur and Myrtle Wilder Talley, sister Geraldine White, brother Kelley Talley, brothers-in law, J. C. Hayes,  Bob Frazier and Creed White.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Debbie Bacon Talley, step daughter Michelle Wood and husband Darren, step granddaughter Sierra Wood and step grandson Carson Wood; sisters, Wilma Hayes of Whitesburg and Doris Frazier of Rogersville, sister-in-law Susie Talley of Morristown, several nieces, nephews, special friends and family and two special pets, Annie and Storm.

Honorary pallbearers include special friends, James Wallace, Allen Hoard, Mark Hoard, Richard Statton, Donnie Jinks, David Jinks, Bill Jones and Johnny Jones.

Family wishes to express thanks to the kind staff of Amedisys Hospice who helped us through a difficult time.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Kite Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Wisecarver officiating.
