Dudley “Smurf” Beck, of Rogersville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2025. He was a member of Persia Baptist Church and retired as a crane operator from ALL Crane, proudly serving as a member of Operating Engineers Local 917. Dudley enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—watching races, fishing, playing bingo, woodworking, and spending time deer watching in his backyard. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Beck, mother Geneva Frye, father Earl Beck, brothers, June and Lynn Beck and sister Margie Manes.
He is survived by his children, Regina Graham (Shane) and Trevor Beck (Cris), grandchildren, Connor Gahagan and Charlie Rose Graham, beloved dog Ozzy, several nieces and nephews, and wonderful neighbors who became family—Ronnie, Betty, Sharon, and Johnny.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2025, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2025 in the chapel with Rev. Jason Clevinger officiating.
Interment will follow in Courtney Cemetery.
