Dora Belle Maddox

Rogersville:  Dora Belle Maddox, age 61, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center.  She was preceded in death by her parents Worley and Retha Mae Johnson Hurd.

She is survived by her husband Donny Maddox, daughters Angel Graybeal and husband Johnny, Clesta Taylor Maddox, son Chris Graybeal all of Rogersville, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters Patricia Cope and fiance` Johnny, Janet Bradley and husband Stanley, Judy Lewis and husband Tim, Mary Purdy and husband Frank all of Rogersville, brothers Jackie Hurd of PA, Phillip Hurd and wife Nita of KY, John Paul Hurd and wife Rose of VA, Joseph Hurd and wife Kim of Rogersville, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Funeral service will be conducted 4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 9, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Loran Johnson and Rev. Ray Mullins officiating.  Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 10, 2022 at Courtney Cemetery.  Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 A.M.
