Eva Crossan Weddell, age 82, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Signature Healthcare of Rogersville following a period of declining health. Eva was a member of Rogersville Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Weddell, parents, Homer and Ellen O'Brien Crossan, sister Zelma Robertson and brother Jimmy Crossan.
Survivors include her family friend and caregiver Melisa Steele of Kingsport and her children, Heather Weddle (Allen) of Hilton, Va, Jessica York of Cincinnati, Oh, and Austin Abrams of Rogersville.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney Norris officiating.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Rogersville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
For those that wish to attend the graveside service please meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rogersville Presbyterian Church.
