Faye Bailey Henegar, 90, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the home of her family after a period of declining health. Faye was saved at an early age at Pilgrims Rest Church and was a member of Maple Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Wesley Henegar, daughter Shelia Brooks, parents Chris and Maude Cody Bailey, granddaughter Amanda Jones, infant granddaughter Christy Henegar, great grandson Cody Henegar, sisters, Mildred Bradley, Betty Chandler, Jane Barbour, Iva Buchannan, Ina Morrell, and brother Milford Bailey.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Ball (Fred) and Karen Stubblefield (Heiskell), all of Rogersville, son David Henegar (Teresa) of Rogersville, grandchildren, Matthew Ball (Debbie), Kimberly Wilhoit (Randal), Emily Jackson (Taylor), Phillip Stubblefield (Lindsay), Nathaniel Stubblefield (Amy), David Wesley Henegar (Candida), Shonda Calton, Josh Brooks (Hope), and Adam Brooks (Mikala), 20 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Virgil Lipe, Rev. Scott Bradley, and Rev. Eddie Elkins officiating.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
