Rogersville: Frank Earl Farrow, of 115 Bunker Hill Road, Rogersville, Tennessee , a former teacher, prison chaplain, & missionary went on to his reward in the loving hands of His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on the 12th of February. 2019. He was born on the 28th of December, 1931, at Wrightsville Sound, North Carolina just East of Wilmington, North Carolina.
Chaplain Farrow was a graduate of the New Hanover High School in Wilmington, North Carolina, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Education, and Eastern Mennonite Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree. He taught Spanish, Bible, Language Arts, History, as well as Sixth Grade Science & Sixth Grade Math. In addition, he coached track and cross-country running in both public and private schools for fifteen years before being called into full-time Christian ministry. Preceding him in death were his parents Robert S. Farrow, Sr and Ethel Jenkins Farrow, as well as two brothers, Robert S. Farrow, Jr. and Warren Gregory Farrow.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Boehm Farrow; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeshua David Farrow, Kendra Martin Farrow of Starkville, Mississippi, and Jonathan Daniel Farrow of Rogersville, Tennessee. He is also survived by a niece, Faye Long and a nephew, Gregg Farrow, as well as several cousins.
Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.Friday, February 15, 2019 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville,
Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 15, 2019 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lyle Willey officiating.
Internment will follow 11:00 A.M.,Monday, February 18, 2019 in the St. Andrews-on-the-Sound Episcopal Church Cemetery, Airlie Road, Wilmington, North Carolina.
Pallbearers will be, Jeshua David Farrow, Jonathan Daniel Farrow, Scott Little, Bill Horton, David Horton and Tom Underwood.
