Hallie Ruth Gilliam, age 92, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was saved at a young age. Hallie was a member of Mt. Moriah Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to sing gospel songs. Hallie was preceded in death by her husband Jack Gilliam, parents Grover and Texas Reed Helton, three grandchildren Timothy Gilliam, Christopher Gilliam and Vicky Gilliam, brothers Dee Helton, Rev. Clarence Helton, Leonard Helton and Rev. East Helton, sisters Birdie Roxie Linkous, Bonnie Helton, Vicky Johnson and Nancy Russell.
She leaves behind a host of children Jackie Gilliam and wife Mary, Billy Gilliam and wife Linda, Rose Moore and husband Larry, Patrisha Miller and husband Henry, Edward Gilliam, Donna Trent, Jimmy Gilliam and wife Connie, Susan Gilliam, Kathleen Gilliam and Larry Gilliam, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
