Helen Ferrell Obituary

Rogersville:  Helen Tripplett Ferrell age 76, of Rogersville went peacefully to her heavenly home Saturday, February 26th, 2022 after a brief illness. Her health had declined in recent weeks. She was born November 15th, 1945, daughter of Bert Tripplett, and Effie Mae McLain Tripplett, who preceded her in death. Helen was a quiet and reserved individual enjoying home life, church, friends, loved animals, gardening, and was a true friend to all who knew her.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Ferrell, aunts Beatrice McLain Tripplett and Goldie Tripplett, uncles Bill Tripplett, Ralph, Ray, and Ivan Wayne McLain.
 
She is survived by cousins, David and Benny McLain, JoRita Rosenbalm, and a very special friends, Larry Hickman and Martha Plier.

The family would like to thank the manager of Greenbrier Village Apartments, and other tenants who quickly became dear friends. A thank you to the staff at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Dr. Christopher Cook and staff at Holston Valley Community Hospital.

Graveside service will be conducted 3:30 P.M., Thursday, March 3, 2022 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Gilliam officiating.  Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 3:15 P.M.
