JoAnne Miller Horne, age 84, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at her residence following a period of declining health. She was preceded in death by husband Francis Horne, parents Roy Miller, Sr. and Thelma Anderson Miller, sisters, Addie Smith, Eva Higgins, Brenda Morningstar and Linda Hall, brothers, Kelsey "Pat" Miller, Roy Miller,Jr., Daniel "Jack" Miller, Kenneth Miller and Jim Miller.
Survivors include daughter Dr. Eva Ann Horne of Manhattan, Kansas, sons, George R. "Bobby" Horne and wife Sarah Grace of Rogersville, Michael L. Horne and wife Dr. Sherry L. Robbins of Knoxville, grandchildren, Elana Grace Horne, Wesley Allen Horne and Brandy R. Robbins-Horne, brother Jerry Miller and wife Teresa of Beavercreek, Ohio, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special appreciation to Amedisys Hospice and nurse Amanda Bradley for their exceptional care.
Family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2026, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2026, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Horne officiating.
Interment will follow in McKinney Cemetery.
