James 'Jim' D. Hickman

Rogersville:  James "Jim" D.  Hickman, age 84, of Rogersville passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center.  He was a member of East Rogersville Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by parents James and Douglas Hickman, granddaughter Jennifer Neal,  brother Lynn Hickman, sisters Betty White and Brenda Baker.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Irene Hickman, daughters Karen Stanley and husband Kenny of Princeton, W Va., Kelly Hall of Wilson, NC, sons Kevin Hickman and wife Erin of Valencia, CA, James Hickman, Jr. and wife Dawn of Clayton, NC, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, sister Jamie Hanson and husband Gregg of Melbourne, FL,

Visitation hours will be 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at East Rogersville Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at East Rogersville Baptist Church with Rev. John Butler and Rev. Doug Seymore officiating.
 
Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
