Joseph Grohowski

Rogersville, TN/Blairstown, NJ:  Joseph Grohowski, age 73, of Rogersville, TN, formerly of Blairstown, NJ passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Joseph was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force.  Along with his wife Gloria, they volunteered at the Gray Fossil Site where Joseph worked in fossil collections.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Paddock Grohowski.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria E. Grohowski; daughter, Michelle Tyrone and husband, Andrew of Mine Hill, NJ; son, Richard Grohowski of King of Prussia, PA; granddaughters, Katherine Michelle Grohowski and Emily Rose Tyrone; sisters, Alice Pylypyshyn and husband, Andrew of Myrtle Beach, SC, Victoria Gapinski and husband, Richard of Groveland, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M., Monday, August 17, 2020 at Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home in Newton, NJ.  

Funeral mass will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 17, 2020 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Newton, NJ.  Interment will follow in the Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sparta, NJ.
