Karen Brooks Harrell, age 68, of Rogersville, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a faithful member of Gills Chapel Baptist Church. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, James Clay and Eunice Bentley Brooks.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Phillip Harrell, sons, Jacob Harrell and wife Tara of Rogersville, Jarod Harrell and wife Kira of Bulls Gap, three grandchildren whom she greatly adored, Jackson, Lilla and Canyon Harrell, sisters, Glenda Begley and husband Rick, Nancy Cook and husband Randy all of Mooresburg, Angel Shanks and husband Stefan of Rogersville, nephew, Ritchie Begley, nieces, Jessica North, Heidi and Abigail Shanks, great-nieces, Ella and Ava Begley, Paylan Rush and great-nephew Ledger Rush, as well as, a host of family and friends whom she dearly loved.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jarod Harrell officiating.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 6, 2024, at Gladson Cemetery, Mooresburg.
