Kenneth Robert "Kenny" Bare, age 46, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, after an extended illness with family by his side. He was saved at an early age at Faith Assembly Church and often spoke of his Christian beliefs. Kenny was an electrician by trade. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Penny Bare, maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Audrey Alvis, daughter Jazmine Glover, and special aunt Sharon Presley Welch.
He is survived by his parents, James Gary and Jeni Bare of Rogersville, sister Amy Jo Hood (Robbie) of Kingsport, daughters, Kirsten Glover and fiance Zach Fleenor, Nevaeh Glover and grandson Kingston, nephews, Blayne Powell (Marsha), Conner Powell (Andrea), niece Jennah Powell (Garrett Smith), great-nieces, Piper and Ryland Powell and great-nephew Emmett Powell, several aunts, uncles, cousins, special in-laws, Steve and Trina Cloyd, and his beloved dog Maggie.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2025, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2025, with Pastor Blayne Powell officiating.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Highland Cemetery. For those that wish to attend the graveside service please meet at the funeral home by 12:00 p.m.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Blayne Powell, Conner Powell, Zach Fleenor, David Shields, Jerrall Moore, Brandon Lawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Guthrie, John Bare, Ronnie Lawson, and Steve Cloyd.
