Linda A. Vossen, 63, of Rogersville, formerly of Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 2, 2024, at Ballad Health Hawkins County Memorial Hospital. Linda retired from State of Connecticut Parks Department as a Supervisor with 35 years of service. She also volunteered 25 years of service as a 4H Leader, FFA leader and served as a committee member for AgriScience Center Consulting in Suffield, CT. Linda and her husband owned and operated Nicholson Family Farm in East Granby, CT. After retiring seven years ago to Tennessee, Linda enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, and trail riding on her mule. Linda was preceded in death by her father Joseph Vossen and brother Joseph Vossen, Jr.
Survivors include her husband Bradford Nicholson, step children, Jennifer Nicholson of Marietta, Ohio and Johnathan Nicholson and wife Katherine of Ellington, CT, three grandchildren, Addisen Nicholson, Oliver Nicholson, both of Ellington, CT and Kassidy Good of Gillett, PA.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney Norris officiating.
