MARGARET A. WARD

Margaret A. Ward, age 87, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at her residence following a period of declining health.  She attended Dodson Creek Community Church.  Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She was preceded in death by her parents,Vernon and Cora Wheeler Beavers, sisters, Beulah Wyatt and Patricia Beavers, brothers, Eugene and Bobby Beavers.

Survivors include her husband Lloyd Ward, sons, Floyd Ward and wife Tiffany, David Ward and wife Tonya, and Daniel Ward and wife Lynn, all of Rogersville, 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, one sister Brenda Beavers of Rogersville, brother Lloyd Beavers of Havre-de Grace, MD, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their exceptional care.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in the chapel with Rev. Floyd Ward officiating.

Interment will follow in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
