Mary Frances Tunnell, age 79, of Rogersville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at her residence after a period of declining health. She was a member of West View Baptist Church. Mary was a life long dairy farmer on their family farm. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Tunnell, parents Bud and Cora Belle Thomas Williamson, sister Melva Henslee and brother Earnest Williamson.
Survivors include daughter Mary Jane Green of Rogersville, sons, James Tunnell (Rachel) of Maryville, Anthony Tunnell (Melissa) and John Tunnell (Teresa), all of Rogersville, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Barabara Richardson, Wanda Jackson, Kathy McNally (Mark), Margaret Phelps (James) and brother George Williamson (Murl), several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Mullins officiating.
Burial will follow in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
