MARY "LOUVENIA" RUSSELL

Mary "Louvenia" Russell, age 94, of Rogersville, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of Rogersville following a brief illness.  She was a faithful member of Rogersville First Baptist Church.  Louvenia was a member of  Hasson 179 Order of Eastern Star.  She was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Russell, parents, Earnest and Anna Woods Parvin, sister Loretta Bledsoe, brothers, Paul Parvin, Hugh Parvin, J.C. Parvin, and Pat Parvin.

Survivors include her son David Russell and wife Teresa of Rogersville, one grandson Brandon Russell and wife Delora of Whitesburg, one great-granddaughter Emily Russell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Receiving of friends will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2026, in the chapel of Broome Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2026, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Keith Osborne and Rev. Dr. Andy Willis officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
