MINNIE "PENNY" BARE Obituary

Rogersville: Minnie "Penny" Bare, age 88, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System after a period of declining health. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Toe" Bare, parents David and Julia Horner Painter, grandson Joe Mayes, sister Frances Elkins, daughter-in-law Bea Thurman.

Survivors include daughters Rebecca Williams, Sharon Presley Welch (Mike), sons Gary Bare (Jeni), Robert Bare (Debbie), John Bare all of Rogersville, 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren, sister Clara "Tobby" Brooks.

Visitation hours will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Blayne Powell officiating.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Highland Cemetery.
