Mary L. Laster

Rogersville:  Mary L. Laster, age 79, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Life Care Center of Morristown.  She was a member of Friendly View Missionary Baptist Church.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Buttry, daughter Peggy Sue Lane, son Robert Lane, granddaughter Chrystal Lane, parents J.D. and Lucy Belt Murray, sister Inez "Elaine" Collins, brothers Gilbert Murray, Joe Murray, James Murray and Ray Murray, sister-in-law Doris Murray

She is survived by her sisters Lynda Valentine, Nadine Hensley both of Newport, Carolyn McCamey of Mosheim, Beth Ann Maynard of IN, brothers,  Charles Murray of OH, Ronnie Murray of Morristown, sister-in-law Janet Murray, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dewey Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in  Friendly View Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
