Mason Daniel Goins

Kingsport, TN:  Mason Daniel Goins, age 24, of Kingsport, TN,  passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020.  He was employed with Action Rental.  Mason was a 2014 graduate of North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, NC and was an active member of ROTC for all four years..  He was a member of Henard's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  Mason was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayne E. Peavler; paternal grandparents, Claude and Evelyn Goins; uncle, Christopher Goins.

He is survived by his mother, Anita Peek and husband, Rodney of Barnardsville, NC; father, Tim Goins of Kingsport, TN; brother, Kenyon Peek; maternal grandmother, Annette Trent Peavler; aunts, Bridget Peavler, Ondrea Dye and husband, Tony, Kristy Goins and Irene Kincead; uncles, Steve Peavler and wife, Sherri, Marty Peavler, Millard Burton and wife, Erma; cousins, Weslee and Derek Wright, Wendy Jarvis, Britta Gibson, Morgan and Kaylee Peavler, Lexi and Brooke Dye, Jeremiah Goins, Kristen Goins, Johnny and Rodney Burton; many other family members.

Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville, TN.

Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 P.M., Saturday, May 16, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stevie Rogers and Rev. Billy Ray Courtney officiating.  Graveside will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Trent-Mahan Cemetery.
