Nancy Marie Gilliam Mallett, age 78, passed away with her family by her side Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of Rogersville, after a period of declining health. Nancy was born in Rogersville and a member of the Guntown Community Church of Christ. She retired from TRW Automotive. Nancy loved growing and working in her flowers, shopping and singing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Mallett, parents Herbert and Emma (Arnold) Gilliam, brother and sister-in-law Donald & Opal Gilliam, and sisters, Dorothy Elkins and Linda Stubblefield.
She is survived by her special brother-in-law, Marshall Stubblefield, two special nieces Deborah (Mark) Elkins and Tammy (Sean) Clevinger, nephews Richard (Rita) Gilliam, Jeff (Lori) Stubblefield, David Stubblefield, Troy (Amanda) Gilliam, special great-nephew Noah Clevinger along with many other great-nieces and great-nephews and several great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Graveside service will be 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Highland Cemetery with Noah Clevinger officiating.
