ROBERT H. "BOB" BAKER

Robert H."Bob" Baker, age 89, of Church Hill, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center following a period of declining health.  Bob was a commercial construction worker and truck driver for many years of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his son Bobby Baker, parents Kenneth Walter Baker and Jessie Straw Randell, sister Lavonne Baker, brothers, Louie Baker and Jerry Baker.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Trudy Baker, daughter Yvonne (Paul) Chevrier of Indianapolis, Indiana, sons, Johnny (Missy) Decker of Beech Grove, Indiana, and Larry Baker of Church Hill, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sister Suzette Whiteshirt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services at this time.
