Ruby Manuel

Rogersville:  Ruby Manuel, age 88, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the residence of her daughter, Trish Proffitt.  She was a member of Fresh Word Ministry.  Ruby was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Manuel; parents, Henry and Dora Mitchell Brooks; sisters, Birdie Greene, Mary Holly, Hallie Smith, Katherine Snapp, Henrietta Jones, Emma Durham, Annie Gillenwater and Lorraine Coleman; brothers, Freeman Brooks and Amos Brooks; step-brother, William Haase.

She is survived by her daughters, Iva Blakely and husband, Kenneth of Knoxville, Trish Manuel Proffitt, and Julia Mills and husband, Frank all of Morristown; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 12, 2020 with Apostle Julia Mills officiating.
