SAMUEL L. COLE

Samuel L. Cole, age 75, of Rogersville, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. Sam enjoyed gospel music, making knives, and loved animals.  He was preceded in death by his parents Leander and Rose Owens Cole, sisters, Mildred Merritt and Dela Mae Brock, brothers, Coborn and Johnny Cole.

Survivors include his wife Deborah Cole, son John Cole of Marion, Va, stepdaughter Carolee Groves of Clinton Township, MI, stepson Jessie Stanley (Rachel) of Grundy, Va,  9 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2024, in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2024. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Floyd Ward officiating.
