Rogersville: Sherelene Manis, 65, a lifelong resident of Hawkins County, passed into the arms of the Savior on Friday, January 27, 2023, which was the 44th wedding anniversary of Sherelene and Darrell. She had many friends, but loved the Lord Jesus even more. She was fond of saying, "Talk to Jesus." She was preceded in death by her parents Glyn and Hazel Martin Linkous, sisters Helen Stewart, Lois Hilton, and brother Bill Linkous.
She is survived by her husband Darrell of 44 years, sons Eric (Cindy) Manis of Blountville, Evan (Natausha) Manis of Jonesborough, grandsons Daniel, Drew, Elijah and granddaughters Hannah, Lily, Ava, Joanna, Brynlee, sister Elizabeth (Edward) Cuthrell, brother Glyn (Ramona) Linkous and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023 in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Neal Drinnon and Rev. Gordon Presley officiating.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens, 536 Carters Valley Loop, Rogersville, TN. 37857
