SHIRLEY FAY LAWSON

Shirley Lawson, age 77, of Rogersville, passed away after a brief illness, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Church Hill Post Acute and Rehabilitation.  She was a member of Compromise Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Lawson, daughter Rita Garland, parents John and Julie Bowlin, brothers Leroy Bowlin, Kenneth Bowlin, Dennis Bowlin, and Elmo Bowlin.

Survivors include daughter Carolyn Wolford and husband Jerry of Rogersville, sons Mark Lawson and wife Teresa of Eidson, Jeffery Lawson and wife Vanessa of Church Hill, Troy Lawson and wife Ashley of Knoxville, grandchildren Rodney Lawson, Savanna Lawson, Ray Begley, Billy Begley, Casey Garland, Brittany Lawson, Cierra Holt, Lindsey Wolford, Brooke Wolford, Conner Wolford, Mickey Wolford, Angel Wolford, Glenn Tucker, Denver Tucker, James Phillips, 20 great grandchildren, brother Douglas Bowlin and wife Judy of Sykesville, Maryland, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
