STEVEN CHAPPELL Obituary

Rogersville: Steven E. Chappell, age 58, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at his home following a period of declining health. He was a member of Hickory Cove Baptist Church. Steven was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Janice Jesse Chappell and brother-in-law Ralph Barrett.

Survivors include his wife Billie Cobb Chappell, son Jason Cobb of Eidson, grandchildren Matt Cobb of Alabama, Kaitlin Cobb of California, Phillip Cobb of Rogersville, Braiden Lawson of Rogersville, great-grandson Remi Cobb, and sister Linda Barrett of Virginia. A special thank you to Callie with Amedisys Hospice.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tommy Seals officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cobb Family Cemetery.
