Shirley Ellen "Bass" Williams

Calhoun, GA: Shirley Ellen “Bass” Williams, 74, of Calhoun, GA passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at her residence. Shirley was born in Rogersville, TN. on November 18, 1945, to Will and Ruby Bass.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bridwell; children, Richard Williams and Willie Williams; sister, Edith Ramsey; brother, Hugh Lee Bass.

She is survived by her children, Ronald and Judy Williams; grandchildren, Justin Williams and Brooke Williams; step-grandchildren, Laura Parker and Chad Hamsley; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Williams, Sylvia Garcia, Lynkyn Williams, Alyssa Williams and Mollie Payne; brothers and sisters, Jean Lovin-Phillips, Bea Williams, Beverly Barnett, Calvin Bass and Georgie Walters;  five step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation hours will be 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, Calhoun, GA

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 8, 2020 in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
