TERRY LEE REED

Terry Lee Reed, age 59, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at his residence following a brief illness.  He was employed 35 years by Universal Furniture in Morristown.  He was currently employed at Norris in Bean Station.  Terry was known for his woodworking skills and cabinetry finish.  He was a loving father, grandfather and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.  Terry was preceded in death by his mother Helen Gregg, grandparents, Wendy and Bessie Reed, grandson Jaxson Parrott, several aunts and uncles, nephew Garrett Horton and niece Kelli Andrade.

Survivors include daughter, Gerena Massengill (Matthew) of Mooresburg, son Austin Reed of the home, granddaughters, Raegan and Jocelyn Massengill, sister Patricia Horton (Steve Payne) of Bulls Gap, brothers Eric Johnson (Julie) of Morristown and Adam Tackett of Bulls Gap,  nieces, Serenity Andrade, Brieann (Matt) Miller, Gracie Self, Beth Self, nephews, Joe Horton (Lacey) and Nash Tackett, special cousin Tina Culbertson, 4 great-nephews and several cousins.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2024, in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2024, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim English and Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m.,  Friday, August 30, 2024, at Speedwell Missionary Baptist Church.  Family and Friends will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.
