VERINA ANNE HARTSFIELD BALL

Verina Anne Hartsfield Ball, age 89, of Rogersville, formerly of Sterrett, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025, following a period of declining health. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Sterrett, Al.  Verina devoted many years of her life as church secretary of Thomasville Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Julie Ball, parents, George and Pearl Cummings Hartsfield, sisters, Erma Jean Wallace and Gorda Lee Gill.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert Parker Ball, Sr., sons, Robert Ball, Jr. and wife Leslie of Auburn, Al., George Ball and wife Tracey of Rogersville, Tn., grandchildren, Emily (Will) Simpson, Evan Ball, Riley Ball, Chandler (Caitlin) Ball, Lambert (Reese) Jordan , Elizabeth AnLouise Ball, and Charles Parker Ball, great grandchildren, Emmett and Ember Ray Jordan, sisters, Mary Reynolds of Pensacola, Fl, and  Sarah Weldon (Donald) of Sterrett, Al.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Beulah Baptist Church, Sterrett, Al.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Beulah Baptist Church, 49484 AL-25, Sterrett, Al.  Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Sterrett, Al.
