Waymon C. Livesay, age 77, of Rogersville, formerly of Greeneville, Tn., passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Durham - Hensley Health and Rehabilitation Center, Chuckey, Tn., after a period of declining health. Waymon was an Army Veteran. He was retired from Magnovox /Phillips and enjoyed antique cars and his mini farm. He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Oney Wallen Livesay and infant brother James Edward Livesay.
Survivors include sister Edith Gulley and husband Ted of Bulls Gap, pet Kit Cat, numerous family and friends, and Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church family. A special thank you to Renee Bernheisy, Mountain Home VA, Durham - Hensley Health and Rehabilitation Center, and Amedisys Hospice for your care.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2023 in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scott Farmer and Rev. James Ramsey officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Long, Otis Eldridge, Anthony Livesay, Clint Gulley, Jamie Gulley, and Keith Wallen. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Franklin Ball, Charlie Harold, Jackie Hartman, and James Bowman. Music by Volena Gulley.
Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
